After seventeen very happy years here at Velanidia we, myself and Elisabeth Palmer, have decided to move on; to leave Greece to settle in West Cork, Ireland where, during the past four years, we have been regularly holidaying for longish periods; the first trip to Ireland in either my or Lisi's lives was in the autumn of 2011, thereafter we visited again in the spring of 2012, twice in 2013 and twice yet again in 2014. I may write more about our irish wanderings in later posts, this blog is to be about Velanidia, how we discovered it (Or it us!) and how we have altered it to suit ourselves and our chosen way of living.
